Job Description:
Works with all company business units and related third parties to complete analysis of business processes, applications, IT systems and requirements. Translate business requirements into technical or functional specifications, along with a strong understanding of SDLC and either Agile or Waterfall methodologies. Document the business needs into user stories for software development to maximize the value of a product or service. This position involves working closely with internal stakeholders to understand business goals, conduct interviews and workshops, and gather in-depth requirements that drive system enhancements and process improvements. The IT Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for documenting these requirements in a structured format and preparing cost-benefit and ROI analyses to support decision-making on system implementations. In this role, the analyst will support user acceptance testing, integration testing and application testing by helping to create test scripts aligned with business and functional needs, as well as maintaining traceable documentation for audit purposes.
Required Skills:
- Expert knowledge of trends & patterns of core Azure infrastructure, especially as it relates to how our customers adopt these technologies and evolve.
- Strong understanding of common cloud infrastructure workload scenarios (i.e. Windows and Linux IaaS, BCDR, Security, Management, Storage, Networking, OSS, containers and Infra)
- Experience in migration or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud. A basic understanding of specialized workloads such as SAP, VMWare, and Virtual Desktop is desirable.

- Knowledge of business process design concepts and process improvement techniques

Responsibilities:
- Conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, conduct simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively
- Analyze science, engineering, business and all other data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems
- Formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assist management with decision-making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions
- May collect and analyze data and develop decision support software, services, or products
- Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation
- Develop and supply optimal time, cost, or logistics networks for program evaluation, review, or implementation
- Elicits, analyzes and validates project requirements that result in new applications or enhancements to existing applications, systems and/or business process design.
- Understands business issues and needs that translate into requirements to create the overall solution
- Develop and manage integrations using APIs, Workday Studio, and other Workday tools to ensure data accuracy and seamless functionality across systems
- Support and maintain existing integrations, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analyses, and implement long-term fixes with minimal business disruption
- Design, develop, implement and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and standard operating procedures for integrations
- Develop and implement records management program for filing, protection, and retrieval of records, and ensure compliance with program
- Interacts with other People & IT Technology BSAs to deliver world class implementations and technology solutions
- Provides analytical information to management regarding department procedures, processes, and structure to assist management in organization improvement
- Evaluates effectiveness of current practices/programs and looks for ways to improve the department through regular and ongoing review of processes, procedures and structure
- Conducts research and logical analysis of procedural, financial and structural barriers to determine areas of needed improvement
- Appraise and evaluate the desirability and feasibility of fiscal and program restructuring; and develop or direct the development of recommendations to senior management
- Analyzes procedural, financial and structural barriers to provide effective and efficient delivery to the department including an analysis of the flow of service delivery and the interrelationship or program components
- Recommends improvement strategies for restructuring or redesigning based on findings
- Serve as the expert for various special projects as assigned by management and assist management with research, data analysis and drafting presentations
- Conduct peer reviews and assist clients in assessing the impact and opportunity of new technologies to enable new capabilities
- Participate across the project lifecycle team to ensure requirements have been met to stakeholder specifications
- Must have expertise in requirements management (Agile and Waterfall), SDLC, business process, applications and systems, negotiation skills, and RFP development and technical evaluation
Qualification:
- A bachelor’s degree in science, business administrations, IT project management, IT information technology or an equivalent combination of education.
- 5+ years of business systems analysis and strategy design or related experience.
- Successful prioritization and organizational skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously working independently or in a team environment.
- Proven ability to analyze and interpret data to identify areas of opportunities.
- Other relevant experience in a related technical field (application development, deployment/implementation and infrastructure)
