What You Will Do

In this role, you will make an impact on the way Cisco engages its customers in bringing our vast portfolio of solutions to market. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Partnership with Sales personnel up to and including VP-level leadership to advise on the structuring of major transactions.
  2. Engagement of various internal partners including Legal, Revenue Accounting, Business Unit, Services and other corporate functions to structure contractual arrangements.
  3. Interlock with SSF personnel to drive profitable growth across the segment while remaining compliant.
  4. Coordination with Commercial Finance peers in other geographies in support of global engagements.
  5. Optimization of key financial and operational metrics including discount, margin, competitive analysis, and deal cycle time.
  6. Exposure to a variety of new Cisco business models projected to enable future growth driven by software and services.
  7. Exposure to many fields across the businesses while playing a relevant role in leading sophisticated and non-standard deal processes through close collaboration with Sales and advisory functions.
  8. Serve as a strategic business partner and trusted advisor.

Commercial Finance partners closely with Sales and key supporting internal partners to help win business, build new revenue streams, and transform the traditional business model, while remaining profitable and compliant.

You are a highly motivated Finance Professional with sales and service support knowledge in a multinational company. You have the ability to work in a fast-paced high-energy environment and you take customer service and responsiveness to your customers seriously. You have confirmed analytical skills and strong communication skills to influence others.

Minimum requirements for this role:

  1. Business-related Bachelor’s degree
  2. Substantial experience (3-5 years) in a large multinational corporate environment with exposure to various financial and/or commercial disciplines, preferably Sales or BU/R&D
  3. Very strong financial analysis and reporting skills, ideally with industry-specific knowledge of key business trends
  4. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with strong executive presence
  5. Excellent time management and planning skills with the ability to shift priorities in a highly multifaceted environment
