Possess strong proficiency in development and testing practices common to the industry and have extensive experience of using design and architectural patterns.

Required Skills:

1. Advanced Python programming skills and familiar with HQL, Spark, actual experience on PyTorch, TensorFlow or Keras
2. Experience building scalable Event Driven Python Microservices
3. Experience consuming and manipulating data into Python via both APIs and Message Bus event driven data (Kafka or RabbitMQ)
4. Experience with relational Data Base schemas and MongoDB
5. Experience working with advanced GraphQL API queries
6. Experience building Django web services
7. Advanced Ansible YAML Playbooks
8. Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes
9. Experience using OpenShift a plus
10. Background in Network Operations or Network Engineering a plus

Responsibilities:

1. Serve as a technology subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders and provide direction for all firm mandated controls and compliance initiatives, all projects within the group and in creating a technology domain roadmap
2. Ensure that all integration of functions meet business goals
3. Define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process enhancements
4. Recommend product customization for system integration
5. Identify problem causality, business impact and root causes
6. Exhibit knowledge of how own specialty area contributes to the business and apply knowledge of competitors, products and services
7. Advise or mentor junior team members
8. Impact the engineering function by influencing decisions through advice, counsel or facilitating services
9. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

1. BS degree in Electrical Engineering/ Computer Science or similar experience.
2. Eight or more years of experience in wireless technologies with focus in standards, network architecture, and systems design.
3. Highly focused on details associated with one or more systems such as wireless networking (Core/ RAN/ OSS/ BSS), Network Slicing, MEC, Security, Cloud, and APIs.
